2021 Kindergarten Enrolments

Thank you for enquiring about kindergarten with the Glenelg Shire Council’s Children’s Services.

How to enrol for 2021 programs

Glenelg Shire Council Children's Services opens enrolments for kindergarten services each year for the following year.
Enrolments can still be made after the closing date however your child may be placed on the waiting list or allocated to second or third service preferences.

To enrol, you will be required to complete a series of forms and supply copies of relevant documents.

Enrolment forms are available for download below or are available during enrolment week at Customer Service Centres (you will require a printer to print the forms; our enrolments are not able to be submitted electronically unless scanned).

The following forms will be required to be completed:
• Care and Education Enrolment Form
• Fee Payment Agreement
• Parent Education & Occupation Form
• Medical Management Plans (if applicable) – please note medical plans are preferred to be printed in colour and completed on the relevant download file at the bottom of this page. Plans will need to be completed by a medical practitioner and reviewed/updated as required throughout the enrolment period.
- Anaphylaxis Action Plan
- Allergy Plan
- Asthma Action Plan

You will also be required to provide copies of the following documents:
• Immunisation History Statement from Australian Immunisation Record (AIR) (required)
• Child’s Birth Certificate (required)
• Any current concession cards (if applicable)
• Court Order (if applicable)
• Intervention Order (if applicable)
• Exemption from School Form (if applicable)
• Dental Consent Form

Please complete your Kindergarten enrolment form, all relevant personal details, attach the required documentation (i.e. Immunisation History Statement & Birth Certificate) and any other supporting information to the enrolment form.

Enrolments must be signed by the enrolling Parent/Guardian and returned with the required documentation. Enrolments will not be accepted if incomplete or with missing information.

To be considered for a First Round Offer, completed enrolments must be returned by the close of business of enrolment week. Enrolments can still be made after the closing date and will be allocated in Round 2 or placed on the waiting list.
