Light Up Glenelg

Glenelg Shire continues to Light Up Glenelg by igniting community connection and spirit through the power of events.

Check out the upcoming events happening throughout the Shire.

TWILIGHT CINEMAS

A total of five cinemas across the Shire will kick off in Heywood followed by Portland, Nelson, Casterton and Narrawong. Each cinema is hosted by the community with support from council, and are a great way to ease back into smaller events that are COVID safe.
The cinema series had just kicked off in 2020 when the pandemic hit, resulting in the postponement of cinemas that were to take place in Casterton and Nelson.
With the introduction of the Public Events Framework and COVID Safe guidelines we are now able to work with community groups in different locations across the Shire to bring some welcomed events.
